This versatile chair brings baby right up to the table to join the family meal. The adjustable design has both depth-and height-adjustable seat and footplates for ergonomic seating position at any age. The footplate effectively brings the floor up to your child, allowing for greater balance, comfort and freedom of movement.

Norwegian manufacturer Stokke makes the chairs from high-quality, solid European beech or oak wood with an attention to craftsmanship. The Tripp Trapp is a sturdy piece of furniture that would be very hard for a child to tip, even for toddlers who are climbing in and out of the chair on their own.

To use the Tripp Trapp from birth, start with the Newborn Set. This accessory allows you to use the Tripp Trapp chair from birth up to 20 lbs. Comfortable and ergonomic, the Tripp Trapp Newborn Set cradles newborns and lifts them up to table height. This promotes eye contact and interaction during meals, and helps keep baby close. The Newborn Set is angle adjustable with a 5-point safety harness and shoulder pads for comfort. A Toy Hanger also keeps their favorite toys close.

After the Newborn Set, switch to the Baby Set to provide support and stability starting around six months. When baby is learning to sit, the Baby Set gives little ones comfortable side and back support. It also provides freedom of movement and helps teach them the important skill of sitting. When they can confidently climb in and out of their chair on their own, you can remove the Baby Set. This latest version has an updated safe and intuitive harness buckle, two click-in points and a quick, one-click release button. You can completely remove the harness for easier cleaning (it’s machine wash safe) and attach it back in about 30 seconds.
