Walky Talky Walker

Once your baby can sit up independently, Chicco’s Walky Talky is a rolling, multilingual play center. It has a toy tray with ABCs, color and lights, and it plays tunes as well as phrases in English, Spanish, French, Italian, German and Portuguese. You can remove the toy tray to play with off the walker.

Of course the main action here is the excitement of scooting all around (brake pads at the bottom help keep the walker from tipping or going too fast). The removable, machine washable seat has three height adjustments, and the entire walker folds for storage.

Walkers have gotten a lot of bad press for accidents. This one complies with voluntary safety standard measures to reduce the risk of injury. Still, always keep your baby within view, make sure doorway and stairway safety gates are closed, keep an eye out for dangling appliance cords, and keep your baby away from both water and hot surfaces.
